Pixel Art Converter
Upload an image, tune the preprocessing to clean the pixels, preview the snapped grid, and convert the result into a real .aseprite or .png file.
Upload Source Image
Load an image, clean the background, snap the logical grid, and convert to an editable .aseprite or .png sprite.

PNG, WebP, and JPG images are supported. Flat black or studio-style backgrounds can usually be cleaned with edge-connected background removal.
Preprocessing Settings
Use a Photoshop-style inspector to tune size, cleanup, and palette reduction until the preview looks production-ready.
Workflow Presets
Start from a tuned profile, then fine-tune only the sliders that still need intervention.
Sprite Geometry
Adjust the export canvas like an image-size inspector while keeping square-pixel proportions intact.
Final sprite width stored in the exported .aseprite file.
Final sprite height stored in the exported .aseprite file.
Pixel Snap takes the single center pixel for each logical cell. Weighted Pick chooses the nearest real color around the center. Smooth Average blends colors like a regular image resize.
Keeps the detected square-pixel proportion while you change width or height.
Cleanup & Matte
Tune alpha cleanup, border removal, and crop padding the way you would in a retouching inspector before export.
Only edge-connected background pixels are removed, so interior dark details stay intact.
Raises the cutoff for faint edge haze and compression ghosts, turning them fully transparent.
Lower values remove only near-identical border colors; higher values expand cleanup more aggressively.
Trims empty transparent borders so the export canvas hugs the visible sprite.
Adds breathing room back after trimming so outlines and glow pixels do not get clipped.
Palette Compression
Choose how tightly similar colors should be merged before the sprite lands in Aseprite.
Lower values merge near-duplicate shades; higher values preserve subtle ramps and anti-aliasing.
Preview
Compare the source image against the cleaned square-pixel result before exporting.
